From the developers of Max Payne, Alan Wake, and Quantum Break, Control is on track for release this August. And it its latest gameplay trailer, which is light on story, but chock full of mood - it's shaping up to be quite the visual treat. A supernatural feast set in a secretive government location called The Oldest House.

Check it out.

The atmosphere and action all look wonderful. Although light on story, there is the following premise which accompanies the new trailer.
The Oldest House is a mysterious place of power, the headquarters of the Federal Bureau of Control, a secretive organisation covertly nested within the web of US government agencies.

Jesse Faden arrives searching for answers just as an otherworldly force known as the Hiss attacks and kills the Bureau's former Director.

In a mysterious ritual, Jesse is made the new Director. Now imbued with supernatural abilities and wielding the Director's transforming Service Weapon, Jesse must take on the Hiss and take back control.

Control made its debut at E3 last year as part of Sony's presentation, and is due for release on August 27 across PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Where, as is the way with a number of great looking games on the horizon, will be an Epic Games Store exclusive. And to spice things up even further a planned PlayStation 4 Deluxe Edition will offer up an exclusive side mission.
