Out at the end of next week, From Software's Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice looks to do for fantasy feudal Japan action what Dark Souls did for gothic fantasy. The new extended launch trailer might be spoiler-y in that it shows off a few larger creature and boss battles, but it definitely sells the experience as something fans of the genre or action games in general should keep a close eye on.
Also depicted is the ninja-like fast movement and being able to grapple around for fluid movement. Check it out.
Explore late 1500s Sengoku Japan, a brutal period of constant life and death conflict, as you come face-to-face with larger than life foes in a dark and twisted world. Unleash an arsenal of deadly prosthetic tools and powerful ninja abilities while you blend stealth, vertical traversal, and visceral head-to-head combat in a bloody confrontation.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is out March 22 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
