That will let players collect a whole suite of collectible masks to wear, as part of a repeatable Fasnacht Parade quest located around Helvetia. The bavarian-style small town featured in Fallout 76's Appalachia that we assumed was named after a font. Anyway this new limited-time event ends at the end of the month and will go live with this week's Patch 7.

Kicking off a year of timely content coming to Fallout 76, alongside the usual fixes and tweaks - which has been the story for the game's first three-months on sale. And something we were concerned about until the recent and impressive roadmap dropped.

That said, the new Fasnacht quest sounds similar to stuff already in the game.

Fasnacht Parade is a repeatable, limited-time event quest that will be available for one week, starting on March 19. You and any other dwellers who wish to take part must speak with the Master of Ceremonies in Helvetia and then divide and conquer to find and aid the town’s robotic shopkeepers in setting up for the annual parade. You and your compatriots will be asked to assist with a variety of party prep duties that may have you stepping on stage to play a cheery tune, choosing the perfect decorations, or exterminating some buzzing pests, among many other activities.

This marks the first part of the Wild Appalachia season, that will also see the the new Brewing and Distilling crafting system arrive - and more. In terms of this week's Patch 7 some of the fixes and changes coming to Fallout 76 is a buff to Energy Weapon damage and durability as well as a buff to Heavy Weapons. Plus, increasing C.A.M.P. size limits by reducing the overall budget that certain items like lights and others take-up.
