No doubt we're currently experiencing a bit of an old-school shooter renaissance. , Project Warlock, AMID EVIL, and even 3D Realms own Ion Maiden - which runs on an updated version of the original Duke Nukem 3D Build engine. And now the publisher is partnering with 1C Company (IL-2 Sturmovik, King’s Bounty) on a new Quake 1 project.

Which as a Quake 1 Engine shooter, definitely falls into the old-school category.
