With the 'Recent Reviews' for both Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux garnering the Mostly Negative descriptor. The reason for the switch to what were both previously Very Positive among the community? Well, next month's highly anticipated Metro Exodus becoming a timed exclusive Epic Games Store only release on PC.

A move that although wouldn't affect those that had already pre-ordered the game via Steam - certainly left a bad impression. The negative reviews all pretty much feature some sort of message about the disappointing shift away from Steam. Some coherent and articulate, some crude, and others featuring ASCII art giving the Epic Games Store the middle finger. Although a vocal minority, and stuff that won't affect long-term views of the first few Metro games - it's still a strange thing that happens. Review bombing, but this time on older well received games.
