In terms of titles, Dragon Ball Game – Project Z: Action RPG certainly does the job. Firstly it explains that yes this is a Dragon Ball game. Secondly it plainly states that it will be an Action RPG. For fans that's probably all they need to know to get excited - especially after last year's excellent Dragon Ball FighterZ. And as per the new teaser trailer for Dragon Ball Game – Project Z: Action RPG, it looks great too.

With the same cinematic attention to detail that made Dragon Ball FighterZ such a hit.

In this epic retelling, DRAGON BALL fans will be able to play through the legendary adventures of the Saiyan named Kakarot…better known as Goku - recounting the beloved story of DRAGON BALL Z like never before.

Players will experience Goku’s quest for power, his thirst for a challenge and, above all, his desire to protect Earth from the most fearsome of villains.

With the trailer focusing on the cinematic side of the game, we don't get to see combat but we do get to see glimpses of third-person exploration. Development is a co-production between Bandai NAMCO and CyberConnect2 with the game set to ship with both Japanese and English voice-overs sometime this year for 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

seems it's limited to the saiyan and freeza saga, no cell or buu saga? also, how many times can they retell the same story...it's like with every batman they show the parents being killed. we get it. we know the story. at least try and come up with a new story like having a goku in another universe tell his version of events or something.
