February 12 to be exact, which is when Hyper Jam is set to launch across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam. Having has the chance to go hands-on with the game at PAX a while back, it's great to see that it's finally ready for launch. The retro synthwave aesthetic looks, and sounds, great and the multiplayer combat is fun to boot.

One of the coolest features was being able to switch out perks between rounds, in addition to the different play-styles that came from finding all the different weapons. The perk draft, as it's referred to, means that the lowest scoring player gets their pick of the best perk leading into the next round. Like being able to stun opponents, or set them on fire.

Hyper Jam is a fast-paced multiplayer game that hearkens back to the days of same-room couch co-op, and as a nice little bonus Hyper Jam fully support cross-play at launch. Check it out.
