As per our review, 2017's Prey was definitely one of the best games from last year. So it's great to see that it's getting more content. Following from the excellent rogue-like Moon Crash expansion, the free Typhon Hunter update introduces a new multiplayer mode.
Which, as the title suggests, pits a single Morgan against a group of Mimics that can turn into inanimate objects like trash cans and bananas and coffee mugs in an intense game of cat and alien mouse. Also included in the update is TranStar VR, described as "a single player VR-only escape-room-style campaign".
It's worth noting that the update is only free for those with either Prey: Digital Deluxe or owners of Prey: Mooncrash. Prey: Digital Deluxe is currently available for $49.95 AUD with the Prey: Mooncrash expansion available for $29.95 AUD.
