In what was originally going to be an endless runner title on mobile, Team Meat's now sequel proper to the critical smash hit Super Meat Boy, Super Meat Boy Forever, has had its first trailer drop while the team has also announced a release window for next year.

And that release 'date' is April. No specific date has been added, but we'll take April and have now marked that in our calendar. As reported by Eurogamer, the game will be coming to multiple platforms in Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but won't be coming to Steam. Instead the PC release will take place through the Epic Games Store.

Watch the new trailer for the game embedded below.
