Right, so BioWare's Anthem is one of the first big games of 2019. But up until now the art style and look has leaned more on the traditional futuristic shooter side than grand sci-fi along the lines of Mass Effect. That being the original game, of course. Well, that has changed - with the latest trailer that made its debut at the The Game Awards earlier today.

In it we not only get glimpses of story and overarching villain, but more varied environments and creatures that have that otherworldly charm that has been missing in everything seen so far.

Through the power of the javelins, skilled pilots called lancers were able to fight back against this perilous world. But a new enemy has emerged, seeking to harness the limitless power of the Anthem. And if they succeed, nothing will stand in their way.

It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out in a co-op multiplayer environment. And a persistent world. We don't have long to wait either as Anthem is till on track for a February launch.
