This is one that has been on our radar for a little while now, mainly because the whole project seems fascinating. From an art, design, and music perspective Edge of Eternity aims to essentially be a sort of long-lost entry Square Enix's Final Fantasy franchise. By a small team of roughly 4-9 developers.

Ambitious to say the least.

Available now via Early Access, the team at Midgar Studios (very cool name by the way) plan an almost episodic release schedule with new updates coming roughly every three months or so introducing new open areas to explore as well as quests that will continue the cinematic story. In addition to bug fixing and listening to community feedback.

Check it out.

We'll be checking this one out too, so stay tuned for our thoughts. Edge of Eternity is currently 10% of via Steam.
