Well, chalk this one up as a pleasant surprise - as Ubisoft are teasing a brand new Far Cry set to make its debut and full reveal at The Game Awards tomorrow. The setting? Well, this time it's more than just a geographical location - as the following teaser highlights a post nuclear-war America. Far Cry: Fallout?

After the excellent Far Cry 5, it's definitely time to start up the hype train for this one. The surprisingly lengthy teaser not only showcases a large mushroom cloud in the distance following a nuclear explosion but it also hints at a harsh world where survival is a struggle. As for the geographical setting it looks very similar to Far Cry 5's Montana, and could very well be a standalone riff on the most recent game. Or a follow-up based on the prophecy that the doomsday cult predicted.
