Things haven't been all that good for developer Starbreeze lately - the studio behind The Darkness, Payday 2, and Overkill's The Walking Dead. First it's Walking Dead meets Left 4 Dead shooter was received poorly, alongside tepid sales. Also due to key figures leaving, it's stock price fell dramatically with the studio filing for reconstruction due to a lack of funds. And now, this.

Getting raided by the Swedish Economic Crime Authority, as part of an ongoing investigation. Where Starbreeze is being investigated for insider trading. The raid happened this week with the authorities arresting one individual and seizing equipment.

Certainly things aren't looking great for the developer and publisher. We'll have to wait and see what effect this hands on titles like Psychonauts 2 and System Shock 3, which Starbreeze is still listed as the publisher.
