Which we wrote about as a rumour last week, and that it would be unveiled at the forthcoming The Game Awards as part of their large library of new game reveals, and new game-trailers for games in the works. But ah, yeah, we were wrong.

The news was confirmed by Rocksteady co-founder and Batman Arkham architecht, Sefton Hill in a Tweet, which was reported by Eurogamer.

Of course this doesn't mean a Superman game hasn't been in the works all this time under a different studio, nor that it still couldn't make a surprise appearance at The Game Awards. Whatever it is Rocksteady is working on though, don't expect to see it any time soon as recent job listings for the studio, also reported by Eurogamer, mentions a AAA product being designed for next-generation hardware.
