it was revealed that Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky, co-creators of Fallout, were working on a new RPG project at Obsidian. As part of a new initiative from Take-Two Interactive. Fast forward to today and the studio's official site has a countdown to next week's The Game Awards presentation with the tagline "It's not the best choice, it's Spacer's Choice!"
There's not much more to go on than that, but we can speculate that it will follow in the footsteps of Obsidian's Pillars of Eternity, and be an isometric sci-fi RPG. And with the Spacer's Choice branding it will feature a dark comic streak like the Fallout series. Obsidian has been in the news quite a bit recently, with the studio being acquired by Microsoft earlier this month. This game no doubt predates the acquisition so it will be interesting to see what platform(s) it might be coming to.
