Well, it's taken a while but pricing on Steam has finally been updated for local digital shoppers - with everything now in fancy AUD. Well, coming on Wednesday as it seems Valve jumped the gun by announcing the currency update too soon. The change won't affect anyone's current library, merely pricing of everything in the store.

Also, any money leftover in a Steam Wallet has been converted to AUD. It'll be interesting to see the pricing of games on Steam after the change and whether or not titles will adopt a currency conversion model or go the Australian digital store RRP route where full-priced games across the Microsoft Store and PlayStation Store regularly cost upward of $99.95.
