The GeForce RTX 4060 is out this week, and NVIDIA let us check out the new mainstream GPU early to see what DLSS 3 brings to Cyberpunk 2077 and the still-gorgeous Night City.

The big Diablo announcement for BlizzCon wasn't the long-awaited Diablo 4 reveal, seems we have to wait a bit longer for that - but instead a brand-new game called Diablo Immortal. "A mobile massively multiplayer online action–role-playing game for Android and iOS devices" that is set between Diablo 2 and Diablo 3.
Which admittedly looks really good in action thanks to the pair of trailers we got, one cinematic and one showing gameplay. The trailers also confirm that Diablo Immortal is a joint development project between Blizzard and NetEase.
Here's the cinematic.
And here's the fast-paced gameplay, which is reminiscent of Diablo 3 in quite a few ways.
Six classes have been confirmed so far - Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, and Wizard. And the world itself is said to be one that will evolve and change over time. It definitely sounds interesting and the multiplayer side will feature public zones in addition to instanced dungeons for groups alongside a full story and crafting, leveling, and looting in classic Diablo style.
“Diablo Immortal takes the series’ dark, gothic fantasy world of Sanctuary and inimitable Diablo gameplay, and puts it in your pocket,” said J. Allen Brack, president of Blizzard Entertainment. “With their incredible passion for Diablo and proven mobile expertise, the development team has spawned an ultra-responsive and breathtakingly beautiful mobile game, and we can’t wait for players to get their hands on it.”
We'll have more on Diablo Immortal as we go hands-on with the game at BlizzCon and speak to Blizzard about this new direction. Plus, sneak in the usual "Diablo 4?" question.
Oh look, they announced an eastern focused game to a western crowd and expected it to go well. Blizzard really are out of touch with what diablo fans want.
I don't have a horse in this race so it does not bother me at all. I can see the annoyance and frustration of fans, this was not really expected or wanted (at least by the major blizzard/diablo community) but it's not actually hampering the development of Diabo 4. People say this was more of a move for the chinese/asian crowd who do like crappy microtransaction laden games, a game for that market and less so for the western hardcore Diablo fans. If you a fan, it might be worth a download just to see what it's like and check out some story/lore. It still would be annoying though.
I feel the same way with Bethesda and their non propper Fallout and TES6 games. FO 76 should probably not be a thing and I really have no idea what Starfield is and I don't bloody care, TES6 or Fallout 5 is all I have any interest in and I see anything else as a waste of time money and resources.
if it was a game just for the Asian market then it wouldn't have closed out BlizzCon. Even though it hasn't been officially announced they really, should have ended the show with a Diablo 4 teaser.
Yeah, I got no problem with a mobile Diablo game existing (even though I have pretty much no interest in playing one myself), but its not what you debut at Blizzcon in front of your most hardcore, die-hard fans. Thats not the audience for this game at all, and if Blizzard don't see that then they've entirely lost touch with their community

Have said it before elsewhere, this should have been announced alongside the Switch port, or separately in a similar format.
