With footage after the jump comparing the 2005 version of World of Warcraft with the new 2018 World of Warcraft Classic demo set to go live at BlizzCon this weekend. YouTuber Dodgy Kebaab put together the video after gaining access to the demo client via a leak and then tricking the client to connect to a PC instead of Battle.net servers.
Which means not much more than being able to run around the new/old environments without NPCs or other characters.
As the official WoW Classic release is being re-built using the modern WoW code-base there are some visual images between the versions, but there will also be a 'classic' button to set graphics back to the original 2005 version.
