Which has merit even on the face of the talent stabled up at Warner Bros. Interactive, along with how successful and critically acclaimed the Batman: Arkham series was. But this specific rumour centres around WB Montreal (Batman: Arkham Origins) working on two games, which seems maybe a bit of a stretch.

Coming by way of a post over at ComicBook.com, who've gleaned this from a Humans of Gaming podcast that featured Osama Dorias -- WB Montreal Senior Game Designer.

The factual part of this rumour mill turning is that Dorias confirms on the podcast that they just finished up on an "open-world DC Universe main console" title. My theory here is that this is a new Arkham game. He also states that he's now moved onto another WB Montreal product, but doesn't specifically say whether or not this one is DC Universe-related.

It's been rumoured Rocksteady was working on a Silver Age Justice League game, and then that they were working on a Superman title, but nothing has ever been substantiated regarding those rumours. It could be that the open-world game Dorias and co finished is either one of these if they were started and abandoned, or it could be something entirely different.

Two open-world superhero games wouldn't be a bad thing, as long as they're handled better than the recent spate of DCU movies.
