A new OS update is rolling out now for Xbox One users across the world and it's a big one thanks to the return of Xbox Avatars. Yeah, those digital mini versions of ourselves we all made way back in the Xbox 360 era. Naturally, the revamped Xbox Avatars offer deeper levels of customisation and continues the trend of decking out your digital dude with game-specific clothing and items.

And creepy clown outfits. Check it out.

The new update also integrates Amazon Alexa and Cortana via Xbox Skill which allows you to navigate and interact with your Xbox through Alexa and Cortana-powered devices. As per the description,
For example, if you have the Xbox skill enabled on your Echo just say “Alexa, launch Forza Horizon 4” and this command will automatically turn on your console, sign you in, and launch Forza Horizon 4.

Handy for those that have decided to surrender to AI and give over their lives to the impending Rise of the Machines.

From a pure technical perspective, the new OS update finally brings Dolby Vision HDR support to the Xbox One.
