In terms of remakes, Capcom's upcoming Resident Evil 2 looks truly incredible from a technical standpoint. And all that fancy new lighting and animation lends itself perfectly to reinterpreting classic villains - as seen in the latest gameplay demo showcasing Lickers. Which are, well, horrifying to say the least.

The level of detail is impressive too, from the way damage on zombies gruesomely forms where you shoot to the nightmarish design of the Lickers. Resident Evil 2 is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 25 2019.
