The Sega Mega Drive Classics compilation is Switch-bound this summer, which we reviewed here, containing over 50 classic games from the blast-processing 16-bit era. Including familiar names like Sonic the Hedgehog, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Comix Zone, Shinobi, Gunstar Heroes, and many more.

And when it comes to classic gaming or the emulation of old hardware, being able to do that on the Switch - in handheld form - somehow makes the whole package more enticing.

And really, we hope this gets Nintendo to re-ignite the 16-bit console wars on the Switch - Super Nintendo versus Mega Drive. That would be awesome.
