Shadow of the Tomb Raider is out this week, continuing the rebooted Lara Croft story that began with the excellent Tomb Raider (2013) and then continued with the also excellent Rise of the Tomb Raider (2015). And although it mostly tells a standalone story dealing with Mayan mythology and the apocalypse, there's a lot of history leading up to what is being dubbed the conclusion of Lara's journey to becoming the Tomb Raider.

In addition to all of the cool cinematic story beats it's also interesting to see Lara's visual evolution from the original to Rise and now with Shadow.

Also, stay tuned to AusGamers as we'll be posting our full review of Shadow of the Tomb Raider sometime in the near future.
