Which means a Version 1.0 of PUBG will soon be hitting Xbox One, including a full physical retail release. Which will ship with in-game DLC in the form of exclusive clothing and accessories based on the Xbox brand colors. Translation: green and white. Digital buyers and existing players will also get access to the bonuses. Going 1.0 also means the Xbox One debut of the Sanhok map in addition to continued performance updates.

Plus, Custom Games and the brand new War Mode that is described as "a deathmatch-style battle royale gaming experience where players hunt each other in a static zone, respawning you back in with a parachute and weapons if you’re killed". Where the team with the most points at the end of a round wins.

1.0 also introduces much like it did with the PC release, the addition of in-game currency is also inbound that will include Event Pass: Sanhok that opens up new content, unlocks, and rewards.

To celebrate the announcement the following behind the scenes look at PUBG development was created by Microsoft that covers the road to 1.0 for the Xbox One version in addition to providing a look at the PUBG Studios in Seoul, Korea.
