The latest historical Total War introduces the series to the beauty and romance of ancient China in Total War: Three Kingdoms. Based on Luo Guanzhong's 14th century historical epic 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms', which has been used in mainland China epics and cinema for quite sometime, the campaign map features incredible vistas and wonderful cinematic flourishes.

Check it out.

In this time of chaos, the heavens shine on warlord Sun Jian, The Tiger of Jiangdong, when he finds the fabled Imperial Seal: a legendary artefact said to find its way to the true emperor. Believing destiny has chosen him to rule, he gathers his children to his side. The time is nigh to bring an end to conflict, and unify a land, divided.

Due for release in the first half of 2019, Total War: Three Kingdoms looks to continue the story driven approach of the recent Warhammer entries - presenting a tale of houses and families vying for the throne.
