Still in Early Access and available to play via the Bethesda launcher or Steam, comes word direct from the QuakeCon keynote (which we're still shaking after seeing some truly epic DOOM Eternal gameplay) that Quake Champions is now Free to Play.

The announcement came alongside the very cool trailer that begins with classic Quake footage and then transitions to the latest build of Quake Champions.

With the latest updates including the addition of a new Champion, the Death Knight in addition to several improvements to both the game itself and bots.
