With the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Multiplayer Beta scheduled to kick off this weekend on Saturday August 4 at 3AM AEST for PS4, Activision has released a beta-specific trailer detailing what players can expect to find. In addition to the new maps, modes, and weapons of which the beta looks to be quite extensive we also get our first look at the Battle Royale inspired Blackout mode coming.
Which you can see below at the 1:23 mark below.
In it we get to see multiple vehicles, helicopters, squads, sniper rifles, and rocket launchers. It's a succession or action-packed quick cuts but even so it paints a clear picture of the same fast-paced Call of Duty multiplayer but with a much larger scope. A second beta in addition to the one beginning this weekend will be held for Blackout in September.
The first Multiplayer Beta begins Saturday August 4 at 3AM AEST for PlayStation 4 that will runs until Tuesday August 7 at 3AM AEST. The following weekend both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players will be able to jump in from Saturday August 11 at 3AM until Tuesday August 14 at 3AM AEST. PC players will also get their own PC Open Beta during this second weekend via Battle.net.
As per the trailer it will feature 10 playable Specialists, 6 maps, 6 game modes, and a number of new weapons and gear.
