After the recent Closed Alpha for Battlefield 5, DICE has confirmed that the Open Beta is scheduled to take place in the early parts of September. Which would be about a month before the game releases October 11 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. And as per a new post by the team, there will be changes made to the game prior to the beta based on the Closed Alpha.

With the new Revive-anyone ability getting an update to make it a lot faster and less clunky. Prior to the Closed Alpha perhaps DICE was playing it too safe by making non-Medic revives super slow and slightly delayed. Changes will also be made to weapon and gun balancing and ammunition availability.

With DICE noting, "In the Alpha, we tested the technical aspects of the game, its many backend systems, player scoring rate, and many other things. As you and your squad fought for precious Narvik territory in Grand Operations and the Conquest mode – sampling the new gunplay, the Fortifications system, and more along the way – we learned a lot."

No doubt the series return to World War II looks stunning in motion, and is definitely one of our most anticipated games of the year. For more on Battlefield V check out our extensive preview from the recent worldwide reveal event.
