Given a release date of November a few days ago, apart from being overall fans of the Darksiders series there really hasn't been much to cling onto outside of new chain-wielding protagonist Fury. Although somewhat slow and boring in its presentation, this new direct-feed spoiler-free look at Darksiders III gameplay from IGN gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect.

Which is an experience that both looks and feels like a proper sequel to Darksiders II. From Gunfire Games in Austin, Texas, a studio made up of those who worked on the first two games it's great to see the art style, animation, and Darksiders feel here in the third game.

Again, not the most exciting bit of gameplay as it features mostly underground environments like caves and multiple "just stand-there and pan around the character" moments. Our one concern, or take-away if you will, is that visually speaking this looks a little dated - and almost technically identical to the recent HD remasters of the first two games.
