A prominent third-party day-and-date release for both Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass certainly bodes well for the service, especially when it's the release of the million-plus selling PC-hit Warhammer: Vermintide 2. With the original already getting an excellent Xbox One port, this looks to be no different with 4K enhancements for the Xbox One X and rock-solid performance.

Like the original, the co-op unscripted action of Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is somewhat reminiscent of Valve's Left 4 Dead - but with hordes of giant rats to take out. But with the addition of classes, leveling, items, and other elements Warhammer: Vermintide has become one of the most fun co-op experiences in recent times.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 introduces a bunch of new things including a new enemy faction, Chaos, new locations, and talent trees. Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is available digitally or as part of Xbox Game Pass.
