Chalk this one up as a surprise announcement, mainly due to THQ Nordic's non-presence at E3 this year, but the highly anticipated Darksiders III has a release date of November 27 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. When it was announced over a year ago it was given a 2018 release window but since we haven't seen much from it since we just assumed that it had been delayed into 2019.

In fact apart from the below announcement trailer there hasn't been much in the way of gameplay reveals or deep dives. That will most likely change at Gamescom.

Darksiders III puts players in the role of Fury in her quest to take out each one of the Seven Deadly Sins, and is is currently in development at Gunfire Games, a new studio comprised of many people who worked on the original Darksiders games. Pre-orders are open now via the official site - which then links to either EB Games or JB Hi-Fi.
