A surprising turn for the RPG to be sure, but the first teaser for Kingdom Come: Deliverance's From the Ashes DLC shows that it will put players in charge of building a small settlement and town and even presiding over citizen disputes.

Check it out.

The first DLC for Kingdom Come: Deliverance introduces an entirely new type of adventure! You have an opportunity to participate in building a new village from the ground up and experience first-hand what it was like to create a new settlement.

Due for release sometime new month, today all versions of the game got a free Hardcore Mode update - which if you've played the game, feels somehow unnecessary. Anyway, it does away with auto-saving, while upping the brutality and harshness. Which means Henry might die from some strange medieval disease long before the intro section is over.
