Although we don't have a clear date or window when the beta (or, Break it Early Test Application) will go live for Fallout 76, we do know that it will debut on Xbox One ahead of PlayStation 4 and PC. Which probably comes down to a marketing deal. As long as it's Xbox One X enhanced we're happy.

Unfortunately though the beta looks to be limited to those that pre-order Fallout 76.

Pre-ordering Fallout 76 is the only way to get access to the B.E.T.A. Visit fallout.bethesda.net/buy-now to pre-order the game from your preferred participating retailer or digital platform. You will automatically receive B.E.T.A. access on the Xbox One Store, PlayStation Store, or Bethesda.net eShop account that you pre-ordered with when the B.E.T.A. launches. Stay tuned for exact details here and on our official social channels.

Please note that the B.E.T.A. for Xbox One will begin first, followed by other platforms.

On the plus side, it's Fallout. And secondly, the collector's edition comes with a T-51 Power Armor helmet.

And if the new multiplayer and co-op setup doesn't work for you then the beta will be the perfect time to figure that out.
