True story, I bought a Nintendo 3Ds back in the day just to play Fire Emblem - Nintendo's turn-based strategy RPG series that always features great combat, wonderful characters, and a deep and engaging story. Fire Emblem Three Heroes which has a release window of Autumn 2019 is shaping up to be something very special thanks to the additional hardware power of the Switch.

From the detailed battle animations and revamped UI, to the improved cinematic presentation. Bring it on.

As the title suggests this time around players will be in control of three main characters – Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude - who all play a major role in the story. In addition to building a party of companions a new troop formation is coming whereby individual units can be supported directly on the battlefield. Which should alleviate some of the series long-standing issues where enemies always target your weakest link.
