Hell on Earth, as it has so been decreed by the DOOM Eternal teaser trailer showcased at Bethesda's E3 briefing earlier today. In it we get to a true post-apocalyptic version of Earth - in that the demons from hell have spawned to level our planet. Or have already done so.

Once again developed by id Software, DOOM Eternal is a direct sequel to the award-winning DOOM (2016) and marks the return of the DOOM Slayer. Plus, what id is promising to be the "next leap in push-forward, first-person combat". Although we'll have to wait until QuakeCon in August to see gameplay we do know that the soundtrack is being written by none other than Mick Gordon.

Which means it's already a guaranteed purchase.
