With a release date of September 14th, 2018 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, today comes the first look at Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The epic conclusion to the Tomb Raider trilogy. Because, yeah, of course it's a trilogy.

Dubbed “Louder Than Words” the trailer showcases plenty of action, cinematic scrapes, tombs, giant ancient puzzles, and Lara covered in mud.



In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Lara must master a deadly jungle, overcome terrifying tombs, and persevere through her darkest hour. As she races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse, Lara will ultimately be forged into the Tomb Raider she is destined to be.


That flood sequence though, wow. Having recently watched the average but highly entertaining Tomb Raider movie, and loving the first two Tomb Raider re-imaginings - "Dear Employer, On September 14 I will fall ill to a mysterious illness. Signed, Kosta."
