With Warner Bros. Interactive publishing and IO Interactive developing what will most likely be the second season of Hitman. Although teased by both Warner Bros. and the official Hitman social media accounts, turns out that a file called hitman-logo.png was found on the Warner Bros. site - somewhat spoiling the Friday reveal.

In that it essentially gives away that yes, we're talking about Hitman 2. Which after IO Interactive parted ways with Square Enix was though to be cancelled or put on indefinite hold. Thankfully though it all turned out well in the end with IO retaining the rights to Hitman and Warner Bros. stepping up to not only take over publishing of the existing first season of Hitman, but the follow-up too.


The teaser which you can see below looks to be hinting at a Formula One setting where Agent 47 might be infiltrating a pit crew - for some reason. Well, to assassinate someone.



The reveal is scheduled for June 8 at 3am AEST.
