With perhaps the biggest sporting event in the world right around the corner, EA are stepping up with the announcement that a full 2018 FIFA World Cup expansion is coming to FIFA 18. For free too. Yeah this is awesome as it will include all 12 of the stadiums from Russia in addition to a complete tournament experience.

Years ago we used to get an entire separate game for the World Cup, so it’s great so see that FIFA 18 is going down this route – with free content packs. The 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia update includes all 32 qualified teams, and thanks to the abundance of teams already in the game Italy fans out there can even imagine an alternate reality where they made it thanks to the Custom Tournament mode.

Soccer fans can download the update beginning May 29 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. For more info head here.
