Free to all players, and building on the success of the dungeon run mode from Kobolds & Catacombs, Monster Hunt offers a fun and re-playable way to enjoy the new expansion. This time though players will take on the role of one of four veteran Monster Hunters as they delve deeper into Hagatha the Witch’s trail - overcoming bosses.

Hearthstone Lead Mission Designer Dave Kosak and the Missions team give an overview of the new mode in the following preview. Plus give a breakdown of the new Monster Hunters.

What's great is that the new Monster Hunters build on existing classes, whilst incorporating new unique hero powers and abilities specifically designed for single-player Hearthstone. What that means is that some of these powers and spells like firing off cannons to hit multiple minions or randomly acquiring an opponent's spell to use it against them, add a new layer to existing mechanics.

Monster Hunt releases Friday, April 27.
