Namely because it include the critically acclaimed one-two punch of The Witness and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate for Xbox One. Also, the brilliant Dead Space 2 for Xbox 360 playable via backwards compatibility on Xbox One.

  • The Witness: Available April 1 to April 30 (Xbox One)
  • Assassin’s Creed Syndicate: Available April 16 to May 15 (Xbox One)
  • Cars 2: The Video Game: Available April 1 to April 15 (Xbox 360)
  • Dead Space 2: Available April 16 to April 30 (Xbox 360)

Haven't never played The Witness and being a fan of old school puzzle-adventures like Myst, I'm pretty keen to check that one out - especially if it offers some form Xbox One X enhancements. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is a cool addition too, one that a number of people skipped due to the controversy surrounding the release of Assassin's Creed Unity. But, as per our review, was a solid but flawed entry.

But, as Assassin's Creed Origins is amazing. The timing is spot on.

Oh, and fingers crossed both Dead Space and Dead Space 2 get the magic Xbox One X enhancements that have made other Xbox 360 titles like Mirror's Edge look incredible in 4K.
