And it unlocks all Hero and Hero ships to create a more level playing field. As per the recent announcement, the new progression system does away with any pretense of pay-to-win and limits all Loot Crate unlocks and purchases to cosmetic items only. Star Cards and other modifiers now unlock over time.

The update also introduces a new map, Bespin, which was last seen in the original Star Wars Battlefront. Limited to Blast, Heroes vs. Villains, Arcade, and for the Jetpack Cargo mode. Another interesting update is that all Star Cards and weapons in Arcade mode will be fully leveled or Epic versions.
