Last year we got Yakuza Kiwami, which was a remake of the PlayStation 2 original brought into the modern HD PS4 era. With the recent release of Yakuza 6, which apparently closes out the saga in style, SEGA plan to keep the Yakuza flame burning. With Yakuza Kiwami 2, a remake of the PlayStation 2 sequel.

Rebuilt in the Dragon Engine, the same one used to create Yakuza 6. As with Yakuza Kiwami all cut-scenes and key voice lines have been re-recorded, staying true to the spirit of the original whilst taking advantage of more the more powerful PS4 hardware.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 will be out on August 28.
