Set in the alternate history World of 1920+, a setting devised by Polish artist Jakub Różalski, Iron Harvest is a new modern RTS that in less than 36 hours has met its crowdfunding goal of AU $571,000. Presented in a realistic and modern fashion the cover and dynamic combat system is reminiscent of Relic's Company of Heroes. But with old-timey mechs.
To celebrate the success developer's King Art Games have released the following pre-alpha gameplay video. Which showcases infantry combat and capturing supply lines, and mech combat.
Love it when even pre-alpha footage looks this good. The final game is set to include three factions, around 50 different units, with 30 of those being mechs. Which probably means no tanks. But hey, mech > tank.
Iron Harvest is in development for PC, PS4, and Xbox One with a planned December 2019 release.
