After many months of leaks and speculation, Square Enix has used the recent release of the new Tomb Raider movie to reveal that the "climatic finale of Lara Croft's origin story" will be released on September 14 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Called Shadow of the Tomb Raider we've got the teaser trailer after the jump.

And it's very teaser-y, with a full reveal dated for April 27.

No game footage is shown but we do get glimpses of jungle and Mayan-like structures which definitely hint at a possible South American location for the game. And maybe some sort of Sun God.

After the excellent Rise of the Tomb Raider, this is definitely one of the big AAA releases to look forward to in the second half of the year.
