With Blizzard bringing all the competitive Hearthstone card-action thunder, Down Under for the first time. Ahem. This weekend will see the top 16 players who made their way through the online qualifiers take the stage in Sydney to compete for the bulk of the $15,000 USD prize pool. Plus, earn those crucial Hearthstone Competitive Points.
Which as per the changes to Hearthstone esports in 2018, directly affects who gets invited to the HCT World Championship. Read about that and more,
here. Of the 16 players (check out our
breakdown here), five of them are local home-grown talent. In other words, Aussies. And one Kiwi.
All the action will be streamed from 10AM AEDT/12PM NZDT, February 24-25. Which is this weekend. Catch all the action at
http://twitch.tv/PlayHearthstone or below! International casters Frodan, Azumoqt, Jia and Sottle will be commentating all the action too, which is awesome.
