The Six Invitational, the biggest Rainbow Six competition so far, kicked off last week with Australian team Mindfreak making it all the way to the top eight. Otherwise known as the Quarter Finals. It was there that they faced off against Brazilian team Black Dragons in the Quarter Finals, who won Seasons 1 and 3 of the Latin American Pro League.
The grand final between reigning champions Evil Geniuses and European powerhouses Penta Sports took place earlier today with Penta Sports coming out on top in a tense and nail-biting showdown.
The Six Invitational also gave us the full reveal of Operation Chimera, the first bit of content for Year 3 of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege.
Operation Chimera will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC from March 6, 2018.
