And is still on track for release sometime in the future for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch. Th near future too. Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn is the spiritual successor to the 1994 Sega Mega Drive classic Shaq Fu. Wait, did I just say classic? That was supposed to be travesty. Because yeah, Shaq Fu for a good decade there was the go to joke and poster boy alongside the Army Men series for referencing just plain bad games.

So then, why a sequel. To rehabilitate the name of Shaquille O’Neal in the minds of gamers? Well, there's countless great NBA titles that do just that. Most likely though, enough time has passed that the name Shaq Fu still lingers in halls of videogame history - with most barely remembering what for.

Even so, the latest trailer Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn tackles the shitty-ness of the original head-on - with a promise that this time things will be different.

To be perfectly honest, it still looks shitty. But in a forgettable sense, without a shred of notoriety.
