With 14.86 million Nintendo Switch consoles sold since its launch in March of 2017. Which means that in less than a year the Switch has sold more than the Wii U managed to shift in five - that being around 13.5 million consoles. Astounding really, with the Nintendo Switch quickly becoming one of Nintendo's most successful home consoles.

In other Switch related sales news comes word that the best selling title is none other than the excellent Super Mario Odyssey, which has sold over 9 million since its October debut. And just in case you were wondering, launch title The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sold around 6.7 million. Beaten by the Wii U remake/remaster Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

That's impressive, Good for Nintendo. I'll be waiting a long time before I would ever buy one though.
