Darksiders, one of the better Zelda-like action games of last generation is coming back in 2018. Which is somewhat of a mini-miracle, in that THQ Nordic has over the past few years found success in keeping many THQ franchises alive through remasters and remakes. And now, and entirely new game - in the Darksiders franchise no less.

And from what we can see here it's shaping up to be pretty impressive. Although this is a simple look at basic traversal and combat the animation and art style is very much in the vein of Darksiders.

Which is a good thing.



Coming in 2018, it will put players in the role of Fury in her quest to take out each one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Fury will wield a magical chain-like weapon which could pave the way for a dash of Castlevania to join the already great mix of Zelda meets third-person combat of the series.

Darksiders III is currently in development at Gunfire Games, a new studio comprised of many people who worked on the original Darksiders games.
