A new Portal game. Four words as exciting as 'A new Half Life'. But, in this world that we currently live in - where Valve is content to do anything but develop new games, we were starting to think that we might never see the wonderful physics based puzzler again. Well, it's back. A new Portal game is coming!

Okay, so it's Bridge Constructor Portal. Which sees the popular Bridge Constructor series crossover with Portal in a new game coming early next year.

Check out the teaser.

Bridge Constructor Portal will blend the laws of structural engineering and technology straight from Aperture Laboratories into an exciting new game experience, all under the demanding gaze of GLaDOS.

The collaboration between developer ClockStone Software and Valve comes as a bit of a surprise, but still - a welcome one. Here's to next week's announcement of Half-Life Valley. Where you get to build and run a farm in a world of Gravity Guns and science expirments gone wrong.
